How it works

Whenever we receive data from FastSpring, we will automatically add the customer as a subscriber (if they are not already in your account) and record an event for that subscriber in Drip. If the subscriber already exists, they will be updated in your Drip account with an event. Also, when a purchase event is recorded, the subscriber’s lifetime value will get updated.

Connect Drip and FastSpring

In your Drip account, go to Settings > Integrations:

You will find FastSpring under the “E-Commerce” list:

Copy the webhook from your Drip account:

Note: The webhook allows FastSpring to send data to your Drip account.

In your FastSpring account, go to Integrations > Webhooks > Add Webhook:

Give your new webhook a title and ensure the “Get webhooks from” option is selected for Live Orders and the “Enabled webhook expansion” checkbox is selected. This will ensure that all required data for each event is sent to Drip.

Select “Add webhook URL” at the lower left section on the new webhook. Then enter the webhook URL above in the URL field. Select the events you would like to send to Drip then select “Add”.

Setting up automation

Create a trigger in a workflow or a basic rule and choose FastSpring as the provider. Then, select the specific event that you would like to trigger an action in Drip.
