Memberful makes it easy for your community to support your work with their simple membership software. Memberful has powerful features and works right alongside your existing website, no coding or server set up required.
In this article:
Whenever we receive data from Memberful, we will automatically add the member as a subscriber (if they are not already in your account) and record an event for that subscriber in Drip.
Here’s an example of a subscriber that was added via the Memberful integration:
The subscriber was added to your Drip account and the “Member signup” event was recorded for that subscriber.
Before you start, you will need to be subscribed to Memberful’s Pro plan or higher.
In your Drip account, go to Settings > Integrations and select Memberful from the list of integrations:
Copy the webhook from your Drip account:
Note: The webhook allows Memberful to send data to your Drip account.
In your Memberful account, go to Settings > Integrate > Webhooks > Add a new webhook:
Give your webhook a descriptive name (it can be named anything you’d like) and paste it into the Endpoint URL field and click Create Webhook:
Memberful can now send data to your Drip account.
Testing your webhook
To test your webhook, run a webhook test in your Memberful account.
Click the Send test webhooks button:
Select the same webhook you just added and the event you would like to test, then click the Send test webhook button:
If the webhook test is successful, you will see a new subscriber at the top of your subscriber list:
Click on the subscriber’s email address to see their activity timeline.
Here’s an example of a workflow using the “Member signup” event as a trigger:
The workflow is triggered via an event sent in from Memberful. The subscriber gets applied a tag and is subscribed to an email campaign.
