Although the __s link parameter allows you to track and identify your subscribers, which is helpful in many cases, you may run into situations where you would like to suppress this parameter.

To suppress the __s parameter in your link, use the ‘data-skip-tracking’ attribute in your ‘<a>’ tag. To do this, open up the email that includes your link and view the email source under the HTML tab.

Viewing the email source:

Then, manually add the attribute to the link.

Example usage:

<a href="" data-skip-tracking>My Link</a>

Using this attribute disables Drip’s ability to identify new subscribers, as well as track already identified subscribers.
